While there are lots of jobs you can get in Canada as an immigrant, most of them require some certain level of education.

For example, you can’t be working as a manager in a marketing firm without some level of education. In most cases, degrees are required. There are even cases where some level of experience is required.

But, without a university degree, does this mean you can’t get a job in Canada? Actually, no! There are some high paying jobs in Canada that doesn’t require a university degree.

If you’ve got some level of education but don’t have a university degree, there are a few jobs you can still take up in Canada. Interesting thing is, some of these jobs can pay well.

You’ve probably heard that the transportation business is good business. Yes, that’s true! Every day, people move from one place to the other. Especially long distance movements. For this to be effective, there has to be some mode of transportation.

Now, not everyone in Canada has the luxury of being able to own a car. Some that even own cars, may not know how to drive one. And that’s where you come in.

Driving is a job that can be done anywhere. You don’t need to go to school to learn how to drive. If you happen to know how to drive, you can begin the job in Canada. Earning range in Canada is between $73,000 and $100,000. That’s a lot, if you ask me.

2. Farm Work

Agriculture is life. How? To survive, we need food. To get food, we need farm produce and the likes. Now, who make these farm produce available? Farmers!

Now, what does that tell you? It means agriculture is important for every day survival and the demand for farmers is quite high. If you are skilled in this, this is a job you can do in Canada to earn a living.

3. Construction

Construction jobs can be lucrative. As a matter of fact, it has been reported that the construction industry accounts for more than 7% of Canada’s GDP. What does this tell you? That companies are often in need of construction workers, right? Good! Now, to be a construction worker, your university degree isn’t necessary. Just have good communication skills.

Salary range for construction workers is around $30,000 annually. If you are into something like electrician or carpenter, you could earn more. Around $70,000 per year. Now, how does that sound?

4. Programming / App Development

You know coding? Awesome! The IT business is good business. A lot of brands and companies tend to use apps and sort as it is often said that we are in the internet age. As such, these are jobs you can take up. In Canada, you can be earning up to $50,000 to $70,000 per year.
